Nicholas McRoberts' Symphony No. 1 in B minor will be rehearsed and performed by the Sofia Philharmonic in August 2022 with the composer conducting. Movements I and II on the 27th of August and movements III and IV on the 1st of September.

The EOB is giving the French premiere of the "Adagio for strings" by the Australian composer Nicholas McRoberts. This moving piece, in line with the famous “Adagios” by Barber and Albinoni, will be performed in the presence of the composer, who is also director of the Opéra Montmartre.
